FAQ
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Mapsaic reads the location and date of your photos and works out the country offline on your iPhone. It only stores small thumbnails in the app; your originals stay in your photo library. You don't need an account, and there is no tracking and no advertising.
What does Mapsaic cost?
The map, library scan, trips, badges, stats and sharing are free. Mapsaic Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription, and unlocks replay, wish list and trip planning, photo categories and sharing with photo colours. Family Sharing lets your family use Pro too.
How do I restore purchases?
In the app, open More › Mapsaic Pro › Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID you bought Mapsaic Pro with.
What happens when I switch devices?
Mapsaic rebuilds the map on the new device from your photo library. Back up notes, photos you assigned by hand, wish list, trip plans and countries without a photo first under More › Data › Export backup, then import the file on the new device.
How do I delete my data?
Under More › Delete all data (at the very bottom) you remove your map, thumbnails and settings. The photos in your library stay untouched. Uninstalling the app also deletes its data.
